Update: Robin de Crittenden’s Case
For almost nine years now, the TVLA has declined to prosecute Mr. Robin
de Crittenden, the Monarchist who withholds the TV licence fee on
account of high treason allegedly committed by the BBC. However, Mr. de
Crittenden now demands a meaningful answer to his recent representations
against the TV Licensing Authority.

Update: Mr. and Mrs. Batten’s Case
In a sensational ruling, an East London judge has declared that wives
bear full criminal liability for the actions of their husbands when it
comes to TV licensing. Stratford Magistrate Court’s District Judge Celia
Dawson has convicted Mrs. Batten under Section 363 of the Communications
Act because of her husband’s refusal to pay the TV license fee.

Update: Tony Stone’s case
Tony Stone has applied for a judicial review of his conviction and
sentence for non-payment of TV licence fee. He asks the High Court to
quash the June 2010 decision of Surrey justices on the grounds that it
resulted from an unfair trial.

non-payment of licence fee
Hastings Magistrates Court convicted and fined eminent journalist
Charles Moore for his refusing to pay the TV licence until the BBC sacks
Jonathan Ross. Mr. Moore is not a member of our campaign and fights the
BBC on his own, on this particular issue of Ross. However, we obviously
support his principled stance.
